Adam Pellegrino has been steeped in the world of production and post-production, and writing about himself in the third person, since 2009. He got his start in the sports media industry, interning with the Pittsburgh Steelers while majoring in Film and TV Production at Penn State. After graduation he worked up the ranks with the Kansas City Chiefs, spending countless hours on shoots and in the edit bay, before taking the reins of the broadcast & media department. He won seven Mid-American Emmy Awards for his work as a director, producer and executive producer of Chiefs documentary series, live preseason telecasts, and pre and postgame shows. Seeking a new challenge in 2017, he moved to Denver for an opportunity to build a production studio arm for the tech firm Four Winds Interactive (now Poppulo), which would create custom, interactive video and animation content for its’ digital signage clients.
In the years since joining Poppulo, Adam has pivoted his focus into motion design and animation, working primarily in After Effects for 2D motion design, and Cinema 4D and Octane Render for 3D design, lighting and motion graphics. He also takes on freelance cinematography and animation projects, fully embracing the role of utility production pro.
He is currently based in Denver, CO where he enjoys every stereotypical Colorado activity you can think of. Skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, camping, etc… But he’ll always be up for a chat if you’d like to get in touch.
